Roger Ailes

RogerAiles

Roger Ailes is the president and CEO of FOX News Channel.

In May 2011, Rolling Stone reported that Ailes may have a personal “paranoia” in regards to Muslims:”Once, after observing a dark-skinned man in what Ailes perceived to be Muslim garb, he put Fox News on lockdown. “What the hell!” Ailes shouted. “This guy could be bombing me!” The suspected terrorist turned out to be a janitor. “Roger tore up the whole floor,” recalls a source close to Ailes. “He has a personal paranoia about people who are Muslim — which is consistent with the ideology of his network.”

[Note: The information on this individual is best seen in context with the Fox News Channel entry since CAIR researchers are primarily concerned with the network’s overall coverage and commentary on Islam. For more information, see: Fox News Channel.]
