Research and Advocacy Director Corey Saylor. He is an expert on political communications, media relations, and anti-Islam prejudice in the United States with over two decades of experience. Media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post have sought his opinions. Saylor has run numerous campaigns combatting the Muslim Ban, anti-Islam legislation nationwide, and removing biased and inaccurate materials from law enforcement counterterrorism trainings. He has conducted dozens of skills trainings across the United States and Europe, including speaking to audiences at Google, NASA, Yale, Princeton, and the U.S. National War College.
Research and Advocacy Coordinator Farah Afify. She is an expert on the rise of anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian incidents since the start of hostilities against Palestinians in Gaza in late 2023. She has co-authored publications on Islamophobia in the US, including Gaza: The Resurgence of Islamophobia in 2023 and CAIR’s annual report on the state of Muslim civil rights. Afify is a graduate of Harvard University, where she specialized in the history of American Muslim communities, and of the University of Cambridge, where she received a Master’s in Asian and Middle Eastern Studies.
