The F.M. Kirby Foundation was established in 1931 by one of the founders of the F.W. Woolworth Company. The foundation has made routine payments to an inner core Islamophobic organization. Grants tend to be awarded based on an already established relationship between the grantee and a member of the Kirby family. According to the foundation’s IRS filings, the Center for Security Policy was awarded $15,000 in both 2012 and 2013.
