By Allah’s help, and while invoking Him for success, we at Madinah Publishers and Distributors try to firmly and strictly follow the way of as-Salaf as-Sali`h, meaning, the Prophet’s companions, the second and third generations of Islam and the scholars who followed the Salaf’s way of understudying and implementing the Quran and Sunnah. Any success we earn in this endeavor is from Allah Alone, and we thank and appreciate Him for it. Any mistake that we might fall into is because of our shortcoming and the evil plots of Satan, and Allah and His Messenger are free from it. |

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is a nonprofit 501(c)(4), grassroots civil rights and advocacy group. CAIR is America's largest Islamic civil liberties group, with regional offices nationwide and in Canada. The national headquarters is located on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.
Since its establishment in 1994, CAIR has worked to promote a positive image of Islam and Muslims in America. Through media relations, lobbying, education and advocacy, CAIR puts forth an Islamic perspective to ensure the Muslim voice is represented. In offering this perspective, CAIR seeks to empower the American Muslim community and encourage their participation in political and social activism. |

Islamophobia Watch was initiated in January 2005 as a non-profitmaking project to document material in the public domain which advocates a fear and hatred of the Muslim peoples of the world and Islam as a religion.
Islamophobia Watch has been founded with a determination not to allow the racist ideology of Western Imperialism to gain common currency in its demonisation of Islam.
Islamophobia, as a racist tool of Western Imperialism, is strongly advocated by the political right but has also found an echo in the left, particularly sections of the left in France and the countries that make up the United Kingdom.
Islamophobia Watch will regularly report opinion columns and news items which match the editorial brief of the website, both articles that we believe advocate Islamophobia and those writers and organisations taking a stand against Islamophobia. |

Unlike the followers of Sayyid Qutub who deviated from the right path by following an erroneous idea that sprung fifty years ago, and unlike the followers of Muhammad ibn ^adbil-Wahhab who deviated from the right path by following an erroneous idea that sprung two hundred years ago, unlike them we are following the right path of the prophet, his companions and their followers. We hold and defend the creed of millions of Muslims throughout the world. As for matters of creed, we are Ash^aris, that is we follow the school of imam Abu-Al-Hassan al-Ash^ariyy, who is a Sunni scholar, and who compiled the creed of the companions and followers. As for issues of purification, prayers, fasting and the like, we are Shafi^iyy, while knowing that all Sunni schools of jurisdiction are on the right path and that the minor differences among them concerning some details is mercy for the nation. |
